Celebrating the messy, mundane & magical moments.
Romanticize The Humdrum
Why I created Humdrum Happiness
I feel like every time I open an app, I’m greeted with photos and videos showcasing perfectly curated moments—and no hate to those people! I love a perfectly aesthetic photo as much as anyone.
But the truth is, life isn’t always aesthetically pleasing. Sometimes it’s messy, mundane, blurry, unplanned, or just… ordinary.
And I think somewhere along the way, we’ve gotten so used to seeing the highlight reel that we’ve forgotten just how much happiness can be found in the moments that would never make it onto one.
Maybe we don’t need to make our lives more picture-perfect. Maybe we just need to get better at noticing the good that’s already there.
